Christmas is over but that doesn’t mean we are done with shopping. Even on a tight budget, there are babies being born and birthdays to celebrate. If you are like me, you hate paying full price for something that someone else is getting a deal on.
I flew from Orlando to Charlotte after Christmas and wondered what other people were paying for the same seats. This was one time that flying last minute might have saved money because the plane wasn’t full. I was happy to have two empty seats next to me but I’m sure the airline would rather have filled them.
I don’t have any great wisdom about booking airline tickets. I don’t fly often enough for that. I did my best to compare prices online and grabbed what I thought looked best. I have learned from past mistakes. Sometimes if you wait a day or two, the planes fill up and you can’t get a good deal. You never know.
I have found a site called CouponMountain that will help you find current coupons for online purchases. While you are there, check out their forums. It’s one of the reasons I chose them over some more basic sites. Sometimes they can help you get free shipping too so it is worth checking them out. No, I don’t get any kickbacks from this one. It’s a nice clean looking site that I thought you might enjoy.
